Takate Kote is the classic Shibari tie that pins the arms to the body, and the reason most people never get into it is that the guides assume you already know the knots. This set replaces them: it is a harness rather than a rope, and getting in is three movements, wear, adjust, tighten. Because the front is left open, it is the tie to wear with nipple clamps, a pinwheel or a feather.
The arms go into the pockets behind the back, and the straps on both sides are then pulled until the wrap is as tight as the pair want it. Tightening them one at a time is where the drama sits, because the position changes strap by strap rather than all at once.
What touches skin is fabric or a plated buckle rather than rope, so there is no friction burn and nothing to learn first. The strap on the private part detaches if it is not wanted, and the whole set folds down smaller than a bundle of rope would.
